Stargate Universe gets the ax? Syfy freeing up space for more wrestling and ghost hunters

Reports are swarming that Syfy will not pick up Stargate Universe for a 3rd season. Syfy apparently neglected to tell the cast and crew about this news, with most of them finding out about it on twitter yesterday. This completely clears Syfy’s Tuesday night scripted lineup. Hopefully they will continue their recent programming trend and just get rid of all scripted scifi shows altogether… stay tuned for more reality shows and wrestling. At some point, this channel is going to have to change its name.
Fox gives us a “movie” trailer for Thursday’s Fringe

Maybe, it is Fox’s way of trying to make amends for sending their show, Fringe, to the TV graveyard, better known as Fridays… or Perhaps, the creators of the show are just being much too creative right now… either way, Thursday’s episode, Entrada, has received a faux movie trailer.
Halo: Reach Noble Map Pack is now available.

The Noble Map Pack for Halo: Reach is now available. For three new maps, “Anchor 9, Breakpoint, and Tempest,” Bungie is asking 800MSP….($10). The pack also adds several new achievements. You can purchase and queue the pack right here.

This Russian video basically shows somebody going through the entire interface of the, yet to be released…sometime in winter, expansion for Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam. You will find every gun, vehicle, and upgrade here, along with some CCR for good measure. Now, we’ve seen just about everything…except a release date….come on DICE.
11/30/2010 UPDATE: DICE has confirmed that Dec. 21st id the Vietnam release date. PC users can purchase the expansion from the EA Store or Steam on the 18th. Also the VIP Map Pack 7, containing four sort of new maps, will hit Dec. 1st.

For the fans of George R R Martin’s Game of Thrones, this new trailer from HBO must be like Christmas, pretty much the opposite of how fans of Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth series felt when they saw the first trailers for Legend of the Seeker. HBO’s adaption appears to be handled with care and the footage is absolutely gorgeous. Winter is coming…
